parent-teacher conference

I am so in love with my oldest's first grade teacher. She is a dream. Straightforward, doesn't take any nonsense, sets clear limits, works through feelings right away before things escalate, and is FUNNY!!! And I really, really liked her kindergarten teacher so I guess I'm just easy. We filled out a "profile" for the first conference and Mrs. O couldn't believe how much we were "on the same page" about goals, talents, anxieties, temperment traits. Life is good. We choose to pay high taxes and live where the schools are great. I shouldn't be surprised to be so happy with her public elementary school but I am. Let me know your experiences. Is this too good to be true?
